Because of the high number of students experiencing the flu or flu-like symptoms, Hartselle HS has decided, for the FALL semester only, to revise our exemption policy in the following way: 

• Students who receive all A's and have no discipline referrals:  2 exams may be exempted in December.
• Students who receive all A's and B's and have no discipline referrals:  1 exam may be exempted in December.

This will still give students incentive to do well in their classes, but will allow them the experience of taking some comprehensive exams. Attendance will not be a factor this fall in determining exemptions. Should we need to revise the spring exemption policy because of extensive sickness, we will do so at that time.

Just a reminder.....If your student is sick, please keep them at home as long as they are experiencing fever.  Doctors recommend staying away from others until 24 hours of fever-free health.
